Comments	This selection came to Foundation Plant Services before 1965 from a California vineyard (Sierra Vista) via the vineyard of the Department of Viticulture at UC Davis. Malaga 02 underwent heat treatment therapy at FPMS in the early 1960's for 91 days. The selection was planted in the FPS foundation vineyard west of Hopkins Road in June of 1966. Malaga 02 underwent microshoot tip tissue culture therapy at FPS in 2015 and qualified for the Russell Ranch Foundation Vineyard in 2018.
