'Tchaush' is the old spelling for the variety known in some locations as 'Chaush'. Chaush is a synonym name for this variety, whose prime name is 'Chaouch'. There is a Chaouch blanc (aka Chaush belyi, with white berries), Chaouch rose (pink berries) and Chaush Chernyi (black berries). DNA analysis will be performed on this variety at Foundation Plant Services as part of the identification process. |
