Comments This selection was imported in 1993 for the Foundation Plant Services public collection from the Centro di Studi per il Miglioramento Genetico della Vite, in Torino, Italy. The material is CNR-CVT clone 22. The plant material underwent microshoot tip tissue culture therapy at FPS in 1997. After successful completion of testing for the California Grapevine Registration & Certification Program, Dolcetto 04 was planted in the FPS Classic Foundation Vineyard in 2001.
