Comments	The original plant material for this selection came to Foundation Plant Services in the early 1960's from location H92 v15 in the vineyard of the Department of Viticulture & Enology at University of California, Davis. That original material, which was not treated, was Couderc 3309 FPS 01. Couderc 3309 FPS 04 was created when buds from FPS 01 were heat treated for 78 days around 1966. Buds were later taken from FPS 04 and heat treated for 130 days; this newly treated vine material was planted in the FPS foundation vineyard in 1975 as Couderc 3309 FPS 05. In 2009, Couderc 3309 FPS 05 underwent microshoot tip tissue culture therapy. After successful completion of testing under the 2010 Protocol in 2011, the newly treated material was planted in the Russell Ranch Foundation Vineyard as Couderc 3309 FPS 05.1.
