Comments	This selection was imported to Foundation Plant Services in 1984 by Dr. Harold Olmo (Professor of Viticulture & Enology, UC Davis) from the Regua Agricultural Station in the Douro region of Portugal. The original material was heat treated (61 days) but tested positive for virus. In 2010, Coucoeira 01 underwent microshoot tip tissue culture therapy at FPS. The treated material successfully completed testing to qualify for the Russell Ranch Foundation Vineyard in 2013.
