Comments Valley Pearl was developed by Dr. David Ramming, a research horticulturist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agriculture Research Service in Parlier, California. Valley Pearl is a mid-season (August in Fresno, CA) seedless white, neutral-to-light muscat flavored table grape variety. Harvest timing is after Perlette. When harvested in Fresno on August 17, 2010, soluble solids were at 17%. Berries are round (15/16 inch), firm and crisp and have outstanding berry attachment. The berries have medium to firm flesh and medium skin thickness. The breeder indicates that Valley Pearl was developed to provide growers and consumers with a large white seedless grape that is productive with spur pruning. The exclusive license for domestic and international propagation and distribution of Valley Pearl has been given to the California Table Grape Commission. http://www.tablegrape.com/
