Comments This ancient cultivar from northern Italy has now been reestablished and is grown on a small number of acres in Italy. Casetta and Enantio, both from the Vallagarina region, are distinct cultivars. (Robinson, Harding & Vouillamoz, WINE GRAPES, Harper Collins 2012, page 199)

Comments This ancient Italian cultivar was imported to Foundation Plant Services in 2012 from Italy. The plant material was supplied by Marco Stefanini, Fondazione Edmund Mach, Research and Innovation Centre, San Michele all'Adige, Italy. After successful completion of testing in 2013, the original material qualified for the California Registration & Certification Program and is planted in the Classic Foundation Vineyard.
