| Comments |
This variety has been recognized as Nova Scotia's equivalent to Chardonnay. The name chosen for this variety relates to the French heritage of the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. L'Acadie is a mid-season grape that produces high quality, white table wine with a good varietal (but no labrusca) character. (NGR reference 64). Its sister is Veeblanc. |
