Comments Biancolella 01 was imported to Foundation Plant Services in 1981 from Zanzi Vivai Ferrara s.r.l., in Italy. It came with the label 28-15. The original plant material underwent heat treatment for 61 days upon arrival at FPS and then microshoot tip tissue culture therapy in 1998. After successful completion of disease testing for the California Grapevine Registration & Certification Program, Biancolella 01 was planted in the Classic Foundation Vineyard in 2003.
