Comments 'Aravelle' is a white wine grape resulting from a cross between 'Cayuga White' and 'White Riesling'. Wine characteristics are similar to its 'Riesling' parent, but the resistance to bunch rot, downy mildew and powdery mildew are much improved over 'Riesling'.
