Comments This table grape selection came to Foundation Plant Services in 2001 from Iran. The original plant material underwent microshoot tip tissue culture disease elimination therapy at FPS in 2002. After successful completion of testing for the California Grapevine Registration & Certification Program, Bidaneh 01 was planted in the FPS Classic Foundation Vineyard in 2006. Bidaneh 01 successfully completed testing under the 2010 Protocol and was planted in the new Russell Ranch Foundation Vineyard in 2011 as Bidaneh 01.1. Bidaneh 01 (01.1) was initially proprietary to CA-Persia Grape Research & Development but is now available to the public.
