Comments	This selection came to Foundation Plant Services around 1956 from the vineyard of the Department of Viticulture & Enology, University of California, Davis (location I 1 v3). The original plant material underwent heat treatment for 120 days and was planted in the old foundation vineyard in 1964 as Perlette 01A. Perlette 01A was subjected to microshoot tip tissue culture disease elimination therapy in 1996. After successful completion of testing for the California Grapevine Registration & Certification Program, the treated material was planted in the FPS Classic Foundation Vineyard in 2000 as Perlette 02. Perlette 02 successfully completed testing under the 2010 Protocol and was planted in the Russell Ranch Foundation Vineyard in 2011 as Perlette 02.1.
