| Comments | This Vitis labrusca x Vitis vinifera hybrid reportedly makes "an aromatic wine white wine of the American type" (Brooks and Olmo reference) and "excellent red wine" (Fruit, Nut and Berry Inventory reference). Steuben is highly regarded as a table grape. Dennis Rak of Double A Vineyards in Fredonia, New York states that the grapes are "delicious, sweet and tender with spicy tang". |
