Comments This is a proprietary selection imported to the United States in 2012 from Trentino-Alto Adige in Italy. The material was created in the breeding program of Dr. Marco Stefanini at the Fondazione Edmund Mach di San Michele all'Adige. The selection is an aromatic white grape that is a hybrid cross between Moscato Ottonel x Malvasia di Candia Aromatica. The original name at FPS was IASMA ECO3 (F3P51). The name of the variety was ultimately changed to Trentina at the Fondazione. Trentina 01 is managed in the United States by the licensee Outer Coastal Plain Vineyard Association, a growers' association in New Jersey. Interested parties should contact OCPVA for purchase details.
