Comments This is a proprietary selection imported to the United States in 2012 from Trentino-Alto Adige in Italy. The material was created in the breeding program of Dr. Marco Stefanini at the Fondazione Edmund Mach di San Michele all'Adige. The selection is a red wine grape that is a hybrid cross between Teroldigo and Lagrein. The original name at FPS was IASMA ECO1 (F1P9). The name was ultimately changed to San Marco at the Fondazione. San Marco 01 is managed in the United States by licensee Outer Coastal Plain Vineyard Association, a growers' association in New Jersey. Interested parties should contact OCPVA for purchase details.
