This selection was donated to the public grapevine collection at Foundation Plant Services in 2001 by Vivai Cooperativi Rauscedo, Italy. It is clone ISV 19-1-6. The original plant material underwent microshoot tip tissue culture therapy at FPS in 2001. After successful completion of testing for the California Grapevine Registration & Certification Program, Saint George 19 was planted in the FPS Classic Foundation Vineyard in 2006. Saint George 19 successfully completed testing to qualify for the Russell Ranch Foundation Vineyard, where it was planted in 2011 as Saint George 19.1. |
