Comments This black raisin grape selection was donated to the public grapevine collection at Foundation Plant Services at UC Davis in 2015 by the Fassoulis Grapevine Nursery in Nemea, Korinthia, Greece. The plant material was collected from a vineyard in the Korakochori region in Ilia and designated clone F1. The vineyard in Ilia was reportedly established with material from a negative massal selection at Achaia in the Bostitsa area. The original material underwent microshoot tip tissue culture therapy at FPS in 2015 and qualified for the Russell Ranch Foundation Vineyard in 2018.
