Grape Selection Licensor

Calif. Table Grape Commission licensing information.

The California Table Grape Commission (CTGC) was established by the State Legislature in 1967 and approved by grower referendum in 1968. The mission of the CTGC is to maintain and expand markets for fresh California grapes and create newer and larger markets at home and abroad. In 2017, 99% of United States table grapes were produced in California. More than 85 grape varieties are grown in one of three colors – green, red and black. The proprietary CTGC grapevine varieties are distributed by licensee nurseries.
