Comments This French-American hybrid was given the name Chancellor by the Finger Lakes (New York) Wine Growers Association in 1970. Chancellor is used to produce varietal wines and in blends.

Propagation material from Provisional selections qualifies for release subject to the understanding on the part of the customer that the identity has yet to be confirmed.

Comments This selection was donated to the public grapevine collection at Foundation Plant Services in 2015 by Dennis Rak, owner of Double A Vineyards in Fredonia, New York. The variety is also known as Seibel 7053. The original material successfully completed testing to qualify for the Classic Foundation Vineyard in 2017.
