Comments This black wine grape selection was collected in 2010 by Dr. Malli Aradhya of the USDA-ARS National Clonal Germplasm Repository (Davis) from The National Center for Grapevine and Fruit Tree Planting Material Propagation in Saguramo, Mtskheta, Republic of Georgia. The plant material was labeled 'Saperavi 359' when received at FPS. The selection successfully qualified for the California Grapevine Registration & Certification Program in 2016.
