Description |
Originated in Pasadena, California, by Jennie Benedict Thompson. Introduced in 1935. Large round fruit with skin that is mottled maroon over green, thick, and sweet. Red flesh, firm, juicy, sweet flavor, delicious, freestone; sweeter than Satsuma. Trees are medium to large, vigorous; resistant to delayed foliation in southern California. |
