Orig. in Yuba City, Calif., by Howard H. Harter, Harter Packing CO. Introd. in 1950. Probable offshoot of the Lovell seedling rootstock. Discovered in 1946. Round and good shaped fruit; yellow flesh. Firm; Non-melting. Good quality; canning and commercial peach. Sizes well for an extra early cultivar. Trees are vigorous growers; bears heavily. |
