| Description |
Orig. in Merced, Calif., by F.W. Anderson. Introd. in 1951. Fruit is very similar to Le Grand, but ripens about 2 weeks later. Old favorite yellow-fleshed nectarine. Richly flavored, still one of the best. Very high taste test scores. Attractive red and yellow skin. Trees are vigorous and more productive the Le Grand. |
