| Description |
Orig. in Fresno, Calif., by John H. Weinberger, U.S. Hort. Field Sta. Introd. in 1965. Fruit is medium size and ovate with skin that is brilliant cherry-red. Attractive with some tendency toward roughness of suture and tip. Yellow flesh, firm and good flavored. Rich, sweet-tangy flavor. Suitable for long distance shipments. Trees have good productivity and are moderately vigorous; leaf glands reniform; petals large. Susceptible to peach leaf curl, brown rot, and Oriental fruit moth. |
