| Description |
Orig. in Fresno, Calif., by U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. Introd. in 1973. Cross made in 1965, selected in 1968 by J.H. Weinberger. Large and round fruit but not as large as Suncrest. Skin bright yellow with 50% red blush, pubescent light, more attractive than and smoother than Suncrest; yellow flesh, firm; attractive; smooth texture; good flavored. Ideal for canning and freezing. Trees are vigorous and productive; large; flower self-fertile; leaf glands reniform. |
