| Description |
Orig. in Prosser, Wash., by Wash. State Agr. Expt. Sta. and USDA. Introduced in 1971. Fruit is 2 3/4 to 3 inches in diameter; round; skin light yellow ground cover and faintly streaked with medium red blush over 75% of surface. Flesh is deep yellow; very firm, texture slightly coarse; flavor excellent; good shipping quality. Recommended for for fresh market and canning. Trees are vigorous and productive; small flowers; susceptible to bacterial spot. Used in northwestern states. |
