| Description |
The fruit of Sumnue (Cristalina™) mature early in the harvest season and are the largest in the early season category. The fruit is heart-shaped, large to medium size with dark red skin, glossy and very attractive in a pack. Tolerant to rain cracking. The tree is spreading and productive, harvests 5 days before Van. An interesting attribute of this cultivar is that it can be picked stemless very early with no damage to the skin, i.e. a minimum of stem pulls, which is of interest to those exploring the stemless fresh market.
