Orig. by G. Merrill, Red Bluff, Calif. Plant patent 4399; March 20, 1979. Fruit is medium large; globose; blushed red over yellow skin; yellow flesh, very firm, melting, freestone with bright red at pit cavity; elegant balanced flavor; ripens late July at Red Bluff. Flowers large, nonshowy; leaf glands reniform. Trees: medium size and medium vigor; upright to spreading growth and productive; regular bearer. |
