Orig. in Davis, Calif., by L.D. Davis, California Agr. Expt. Sta. Introd. in 1962, University of California, Davis. Named for Major W.S. Everts, Manager, California Cling Peach Advisory Board. A commercial canning clingstone. Medium to large; skin an excellent harvest yellow with medium blush. Flesh is clear yellow; outstanding flavor quality when canned. Trees set and sizes satisfactory crops; leaf glands reniform; nonshowy flower. |
