| Description |
Orig. in College Park, Md., by A.L. Schrader and I.C. Haut, Maryland Agr. Expt. Sta. Introd. in 1944. Medium to large fruit, good size even with heavy production. Red blush covers most of its yellow background, even in shade. Firm, yellow, non-browning flesh. Fine flavor and high quality for eating, canning, freezing and shipping. A vigorous fast growing and spreading tree that must be carefully trained and pruned. Resistant to bacteriosis. |
