| Description |
Orig. in New Brunswick, NJ, by M.A. Blake, New Jersey Agr. Expt. Sta. Introd in 1936. Medium to large fruit. Skin is attractive red with a greenish ground color, round, and ridged along suture. Fine textured cultivar, soft, melting and watery. An extremely high quality peach. Excellent early white peach for farmer markets and for freezing. Trees are vigorous, spreading, productive, hardy, tolerant to bacteriosis. Resistant to flesh browning. |
