| Description |
Originated in Davis, CA at UC Davis, Agri. Expt. Sta. by L.D. Davis. Named after Logan Bowen a grower in Stanislaus County, CA. Introduced in 1971. Medium size fruit, truncated, symmetrical with skin that has a yellow ground color and slight blush. Excellent harvest flavor with flesh being clear yellow and becoming slightly darker when fully mature. Introduced because of its superior flavor when canned. Trees are medium in size, upright; vigorous; highly productive; flower nonshowy; leaf gland globose. |
