| Description |
Orig. in Kaysville, Utah, by Summer Gleason. Introduced in 1907 by Summer Gleason, Kaysville, UT, and Stark Brother's Nursueries, Louisiana, MO. A historical cultivar. Early sport of Elberta. Large, oblong, yellow fruit with a light red blush. Fine grained, yellow, freestone flesh. Excellent for canning and freezing. Does not color well. Requires heavy thinning. Carries the clingstone gene. Obsolete. Is moderately resistant to bacterial spot. |
