Orig. in 1973 at University of California, Davis. Selected in 1978 by R.Fenton and released in 1993 by T.M. Gradziel, W. Beres, J. Doyle, and C. Weeks. Large fruit; 20% to 60% red blush over yellow-orange with moderate pubescence. Flesh uniform yellow, non-melting with a smaller than average light-brown pit. A late canning peach. Excellent storage capability making it attractive to canneries for extending the processing seson. |
