| Description |
Orig. in Fresno, Calif., by John H. Weinberger, U.S. Hort. Field Sta. Introd. in 1965. large fruit, round and 20-30% bright blush over an attractive yellow. Firm, melting and good textured fruit with good flavor. High quality. An excellent late season peach. Trees are vigorous, more so than Rio Oso Gem; productive; leaf glands reniform; petals large. Susceptible to peach leaf curl, brown rot, Oriental fruit moth and peach twig borer. |
