This selection was imported to Davis in 1983 by Dr. Harold Olmo (Professor, UC Davis) from St. Catherine's Monastery in the Sinai in Egypt. The cuttings were taken from the 'Old Arbor' at the Monastery. The selection was brought to Davis for evaluation and identification. The vine has not yet been identified. |
